The Anglican Episcopal Church

Our Church is an independent jurisdiction of the Continuing Anglican Churches.  We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, acknowledging all Christians who are baptized in the Name of the Trinity.  We are not THE Church, but we are part of that church, a church that cuts across denominational lines consistent with traditional Biblical Christianity where Christ is the head.

What We Believe

We believe in one true and living God, the maker of all things and the judge of all men.  He is a Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Jesus Christ, the Son, was born of the Virgin Mary taking the nature of man whereby the natures of God and man were joined together.  Jesus was and is the Logos, the Living Word who for mankind came from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Ghost.  As the Apostles' Creed states: "(He was) crucified, dead, and buried:.... The third day he rose again from the dead:..... And istteth on the right hand of God the Father Almight:  from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.....(We) believe in the Hoy Ghost: the holy Catholic Church;..... And the life everlasting."

Doctrines and Scripture

All doctrines of our faith are taken from Holy Scripture and no doctrine is allowed if it is not warranted by the books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  Scripture must be read in the context of the whole.  The Scriptures must not be read selectively to the detriment of the whole of the Bible.
